The City of Temecula Community Services Department will be hosting their First Fridays Art event on Friday, March 6, 2015 in Old Town Temecula.
From 6:00pm to 9:00pm “Art Off The Walls” will be held in the Truax Building located at Second Street and Mercedes in Old Town Temecula and will feature the work of seventeen (17) associate artists from the Dorland Mountain Arts Colony.
“Dorland Mountain Arts Colony is a beautiful retreat where artists, writers, musicians and composers can create in a secluded, natural setting. The colony is located near Temecula Valley Wine Country, about 100 miles south of Los Angeles and sixty miles north of San Diego.”
The “First Fridays” art events are a free and exciting opportunity for area artists to share their work with the community and visitors to Temecula. Great music and good food are a part of every event.
The Devilicious Food Truck will be curbside if you don’t want to walk far for dinner (fees apply).
A wait list of interested artists in all mediums is now forming for First Fridays in 2015. Interested artists are encouraged to contact Gail Zigler, Sr. Recreation Coordinator, Arts, Culture and Events (ACE) firstname.lastname@example.org to be placed on the wait list.
