Saturday, October 5th 8:30 am to 3:00 pm
The Friends of the Temecula Valley Museum Fall Bazaar is only a few weeks away! The public is invited to this free fund raising event for the Temecula Valley Museum, sponsored by the Temecula Valley Museum Board of Directors.
The biannual bazaar is a local community favorite, with over 90 booths featuring unique products, antiques and homemade craft items. Come to the Bazaar to do some holiday shopping in October so that you can relax and enjoy the holidays! Jewelry, Candles, Quilts, Home Décor and more will be featured. Guests can wander the Bazaar and do a little shopping, then come into the museum to view our newest exhibit, “2013 Hoffman Quilt Challenge” featuring winning entries from talented Fabric artists—where each year beautiful works of art are created using a few select fabrics.
As part of this effort, the Temecula Valley Women’s Club Museum Committee will staff a booth selling “experienced” Items with proceeds donated to the museum. All who wish to support the museum’s community effort at preserving and educating about the history of Temecula are invited to bring your “experienced” items and donate for sale in the TVWC’s booth. We are looking for small items like jewelry, glassware, china, tools, Christmas ornaments, etc. that can be stored and moved easily. NO furniture, clothing or food items.
Donations will be received between now and October 2nd at the Temecula Valley Museum. Hours of operation are Tuesday through Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and Sunday 1:00 to 4:00 pm. The museum is always closed on Mondays. The Temecula Valley Museum is located at 28314 Mercedes Street in Sam Hicks Monument Park, Old Town Temecula.
