Old Town Update: Pardon the dust, infrastructure improvements being made for future growth!
ALL OLD TOWN BUSINESSES REMAIN OPEN DURING CONSTRUCTION!!!
Eastern Municipal Water District is currently installing a parallel sewer line traveling the length of Old Town Front Street. This secondary sewer line is necessary to accommodate the demands for future growth. The project is expected to be completed in the 4th quarter of 2015. In early February, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Riverside County Flood Control District will start necessary flood improvements to the Murrieta Creek in Old Town (from just south of First Street to just south of Rancho California Road).
The first improvements will include clearing the creek channel (between Feb. 9th – March 15th). The project will feature a pedestrian pathway with enhanced natural landscaping along the creek. To view project plans Click here!
